Position Housekeeper / Nanny Live-In

IMPERIAL EDUCATION CAMBRIDGE are recruiting on behalf of a lovely family are looking for a mature, experienced full-time, live-in housekeeper/nanny to be responsible for the smooth running of the household and some childcare duties.
The family have an 18 month old boy currently being cared for by mum, who will be at home full-time for at least another year. She is expecting her second child in February and is consequently looking for someone who will take charge of the cleaning and organisation of the household, whilst she focuses on the children. (There is a Night Nanny booked for 2 months when second baby arrives) Dad is a busy working professional, who is very hands on with his children when at home.
Duties will include the full cleaning of the house, laundry for the family and ironing for the parents, cooking healthy meals for the toddler (cooking for parents would be greatly appreciated but not a deal breaker) keeping the house organised and tidy, organising wardrobes, grocery shopping and taking deliveries.
Light childcare duties will be mainly required for the toddler, who attends nursery 3 mornings per week. Help such as preparing breakfast, making sure that his bags and clothes are prepared for nursery, keeping mum informed about what he is eating at meal times and tidying up after play and meal times are required. Once the new baby arrives mum would like the candidate to spend some time with the toddler playing games, stimulating his imagination and taking the stroller for walks in the park. Due to the location of the house, a driver is not necessary and mum does the nursery run herself.
The candidate will be on duty from 7.30am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility. The family are happy for the candidate to take 3 hours off in the afternoons. Babysitting will be required one evening per week, usually during the week, occasionally on a Saturday night, but advanced notice will be given, should this be necessary.
A separate bedroom and bathroom are provided on the top floor of the house, which allows for privacy during time off.
Mum is ideally looking for a mature candidate who she can rely on to keep the household clean and organised. They would like someone who will become part of the family and stay with them long term. It is essential that the candidate is able to work on their own initiative, whilst taking the needs of the family into consideration. The ideal candidate will be willing to do some temporary proxy parenting, should mum have to spend any extra time in the hospital after the birth.
Although they would like to find someone to start ASAP, they are willing to wait for the right candidate.
